A unique and personal approach to learning to play flute. Promoting body, mind and spirit first. Using established breathing techniques and frequency meditation. Harmonising Ancient Wisdom with cutting edge 21st Century thinking.
A naturally evolved approach that nests classical flute playing traditions in an interdisciplinary context. Oriented towards the player as a vital part of the playing experience, new learners use sonic meditation to familiarise themselves with the flute, develop aural sensitivity and hone key physical strengths for powering the instrument.
Advancing players are invited to rediscover their original passion for the instrument, flexing their mind and exploring their flute/body conversation to unlock new levels of relaxation and ability.
An innovative reordering of the traditional process for 21st century players.

Linda creates a welcoming atmosphere, teaching from her home studio in the centre of an urban environment. She understands that starting to play a musical instrument or meeting with a new teacher can be as daunting as it is exciting so offers a free telephone consultation - essentially, a relaxed chat, so you can tap into the vibe and explore your options.
Lessons are designed around each students' goals, interests and lifestyle. An organic mix of playing, theory and discovery designed to enhance the player experience as well as the playing experience.
Students are invited to set their own level of immersion, to encounter their studies with a new mind and relax into a rhythm of discovery that suits them, whether pushing into the classical discipline or free floating in discovery.
All players are welcome, new and experienced, with lessons available to book on fortnightly rotation.
